The Decut PCOCUT is a fantastic arrow cutter that makes quick, clean work of both carbon and aluminium arrows. It also offers fine-tuning for precise arrow length.
One thing it doesn’t include, however, is a dust extractor attachment, so I’ve designed two options to solve that.
Design 1 – A hood extractor that fits neatly over the existing guard and allows a shop vac to connect via the 30 mm collection port. This option doesn’t require any dismantling of the arrow cutter and can be easily secured to the existing housing with tape. This makes access to the cutting disk for replacement a simple task.
Design 2- A full replacement solution with a rear dust attachment. This option requires 10 × 3 mm × 10 mm screws to assemble the extractor. To install it, the existing guard needs to be removed, as it is held in place by the two front legs of the motor mount and some double sided tape. The end plate will need to be removed in order to replace the cutting disk.
